At Freedom Wave Shop, we want you to be as stoked about your gear as you are about catching the perfect wave. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right – no wipeouts here!

Our Return Policy

You can return most items within 15 days of receiving your order, as long as they’re in original condition (unworn, unused, with tags attached). Some exceptions apply (see below).

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Ding Repair Kits (once opened)
  • DVDs & Books (if opened or digital content accessed)
  • Swimwear/Bikinis (for hygiene reasons, unless defective)
  • Clearance items (marked as final sale)

The Return Process (Easy as Paddling Out)

  1. Contact Us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for Approval – Our crew will respond within 3 Crofton hours with return instructions
  3. Pack It Up – Include all original packaging and tags
  4. Ship It Back – Use a trackable shipping method to:

  5. Get Refunded – Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 3-5 business days)

Exchange Process

Want to swap for a different size or style? Follow the same steps as returns, but specify what you’d like instead. We’ll hook you up as long as the item is in stock.

Refund Info

Timing: Refunds process within 3-5 business days after we receive your return. It may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.

Method: Refunds go back to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is our mistake.

International Returns

For surfers outside the U.S.: Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and the package must be marked “RETURNED GOODS” to avoid customs fees. Refunds will be minus original shipping costs.

Damaged or Wrong Items?

If your gear arrives damaged or incorrect, email us immediately with photos at [email protected]. We’ll send replacements faster than you can say “cowabunga!”
